(Nov 24, 2025) We are excited to be sharing the Sparking Secondary Success (SSS) grade 9 reach ahead opportunity for all of our grade 8 students across our board. This program has positively impacted the achievement, credit accumulation, and well-being of hundreds of our students over the past three years.
While accelerated learning opportunities in subject-specific areas are being provided in our 7-12 schools, this course is focused on supporting the transition to secondary school by providing an opportunity to earn a credit prior to starting grade 9, focused on supporting students in understanding themselves as learners through the four domains of well-being (physical, social, emotional, cognitive).
